Agricultural and manufacturing schedules for Mississippi for the 1850 (7th), 1860 (8th), 1870 (9th), and 1880 (10th) U.S. Census. The agricultural schedules contain information regarding the number of farms in the state, farm owners, number and type of livestock owned, and agricultural products produced and sold. The manufacturing schedules show, among other data, the names of companies, type of products produced, the varieties of machinery used, and amount of capital invested in the businesses.
